The Diocesan Catechist Certification Program is the official faith formation program for all catechists in the Diocese of Orlando. It serves all those involved with religious education, Catholic Schools, Catechumenate, and other catechetical ministries.

Necessary information before registering
Registration for courses takes place only through the parish DRE and/or Catholic School Principal [or one designated by them].
NOTE : There is a fee of $15 per person per course. There is no entry level fee for each certification level.
All registrations must be received by the 15th of the month preceding the course with payment.
Check the DCCP brochure or our website, www.orlandodiocese.org, for the lists and the descriptions of courses.
Certification Levels
There are 3 levels of certification: Basic, 6 courses [10 hours each]; Advanced, 6 courses [10 hours each]; Master, 6 courses [10 hours each]. Those who have completed Basic and Advanced certification may obtain Master Certification by participating in the Into the Fields, adult faith formation.
Information and Materials
Every catechist is to receive a DCCP Schedule for 2007 - 2008; DCCP Booklet which provides details of the program and a description of each course. These are provided free from the Diocesan Office of Religious Education through the DREs and principals.
Other Pertinent Information
A person may choose to register for a course offered at any location in this schedule.
Courses 101, 102, 103 are prerequisites for course 214. Course 102 is a prerequisite for course 215. Course 103 is a prerequisite for courses 201, 202, 203 and 214.
Participants are to bring their own bag lunch for courses that run through a meal time.
