Family Life & Pastoral Care
The Office of Family Life & Pastoral Care helps to prepare more than 534 couples annually throughout the diocese by their attendance at Marriage Preparation Programs such as the Pre Cana one day programs, the Pre Cana Weekend Program, Convalidation Workshops, Parish Based Marriage Preparation Programs and Remarriage Programs for couples who have had previous marriages, especially if these couples are bringing children into the new marriage. These programs are available in English and Spanish throughout the year. There is also a Vietnamese Engaged Encounter Weekend offered several times for Vietnamese couples in our diocese.
The Office of Family Life & Pastoral Care also supports and offers programs to married couples for Marriage Enrichment. These programs are The Marriage SPA, Natural Family Planning, World Wide Marriage Encounter and Retrouvaille for couples who are having difficulty in their marriages.
