Brief Description of Job:  Bishop Grady Villas is currently seeking an Adult Day Training Instructor to lead our unique classroom and community-based Adult Day Training (ADT) Program. Duties include but are not limited to:  supervising a group of ten (10) individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities on our property and in the community; developing individualized implementation plans for all consumers; developing a curriculum that is age- and culturally-appropriate that stresses training in Activities of Daily Living, Self Advocacy, and Adaptive and Social Skills.  The ADT Instructor shall be responsible for developing programs that are six (6) hours in length, five (5) days a week and include a minimum of four (4) hours in specific training or program activities designed to meet individual needs and personal goals as defined in the individuals support plan.  The ADT instructor will also write monthly reports assessing the individual’s progress towards achieving goals; will review data periodically and update programs as necessary.  The ADT Instructor will work closely with individuals in the community to create partnerships to assist our individuals in learning about volunteer work and other educational opportunities through education, experience and exposure. 

Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. and a minimum of one-year direct care related experience.  Preferred candidates will possess a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.  Candidates must also have a high level of organizational and interpersonal skills.   • Receive and screen incoming telephone calls to the Tribunal, maintaining detailed records and facilitating resolution or appropriate referral

  • Maintain a basic working knowledge of Canon Law pertaining to Petitions for Declaration of Nullity, Transfer of Rite
  • Process case payments and submit check/cash deposits to the Diocesan Office of Finance
  • Maintain Tribunal database as well as accurate case logs for all formal cases
  • Update and distribute all relevant paperwork and forms to advocates and petitioners
  • Regularly review formal case status for communication to advocates

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience in a service environment required

  • Preparation of payroll, associated taxes and reports; coordination of parish liability and property insurance, workers compensation; and ensure parish compliance with Diocese of Orlando standards.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting from an accredited university; 5 to 10 years of business experience in a related field. Must be knowledgeable about accounting principles and practices; have strong verbal and written communication skills; and good interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills.  Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
