The theme for this year will be "Mary in the Year of Faith."

The congress will begin Friday, October 12 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe in Orlando, with an opening liturgy. There will be a community procession at 7:00 p.m., followed by the rosary and Mass, celebrated by Bishop John Noonan.

On October 13, the Marian Congress will continue at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orlando with a day of presentations, a musical tribute to the Blessed Mother, and prayer.

The Marian Congress will explore Marian devotions, spirituality and the role of Mary in our Catholic faith with separate English and Spanish language presentations as well as musical performances by local parish choirs. There will be two Keynote Addresses by Father Claudio Burgaleta, S.J., Ph.D.: “Pope Benedict and Marian Spirituality” and “Pope Benedict, Personal Revelations and the Third Secret of Fatima.”

All the information you need to plan your participation and register is found here on this website. We hope you will join us for this beautiful celebration in honor of Mary, Mother of God, patroness of the Diocese of Orlando.
