Hi my name is Cindy and I continue to grow in my development here at Bishop Grady. In the past year I participated in Special Olympics bowling and track and field and won many first place trophies. I love to compete and living here at the Villas we participate in many events which I love. Every day I go to work at ARC working in the enclave house keeping program where I punch my own time card in and out too. This year I was so excited when I brought home a really big check which was a promotion and increase in pay almost equal to 6 months of minimum wage pay. Besides working I love living independently taking care of myself and helping others take care of the house. after all my work is done I continue to look for things to do like the Bell choir events that I played at the Harvest Balland wood shop where I make and finish the wood products. Living here is great because even though there is a routine with lots of people and different types of foods I continue to take care of myself and watch my own diet. It’s great picking out my own doctors and food. I love being independent.
