Let me introduce myself. My name is Russell and I am much more social now with some of my housemates than when I first arrived here at Bishop Grady Villas. My new friend Raymond M. and I are best friends. We like to rent movies and go to the library together. I also like the fact that I have the ability to rent some books from the library and movies from the movie stores in town. I like to read books and sharing the information I learn with my friend Raymond and the other residents and staff. I have not only adapted well but now enjoy doing activities and outings with the other residents like swimming and dining out. Some of my new goals are to continue to build a small library with all my own books that I have been keeping in order for people to see. This is very different for me because I used to keep to myself and didn’t really like socializing in the beginning. But now the staff are all happy to say that I am a much happier resident who enjoys sharing the things he likes with others.
