The Diocese of Orlando’s 13th annual Blue Mass will be held on the Feast of St. Michael, Sept. 29, 12:10 p.m. at St. James Cathedral, 215 N. Orange Ave., Orlando. The community is invited to join their voices in prayer for the safety of our dedicated first responders, men and women in law enforcement, fire/rescue and public safety, who put their lives in harm’s way for the good of our community.

During last year’s Blue Mass Bishop Noonan said, “We honor you, the members of the police force, the fire departments, the first responders and emergency personnel. We are grateful for your dedicated service. We owe each of you a tremendous debt of gratitude. We can only repay you and do repay you daily in remembrance in our prayers.”

The Blue Mass includes a bagpipe and color guard procession. A large American flag will be displayed from fire trucks outside of St. James Cathedral. Free parking is available on the corner of Orange Avenue and West Robinson Street. Please arrive early as parking is limited.
