Bishop Moore Catholic High School’s Thanksgiving Drive

Bishop Moore Catholic High School’s Annual Thanksgiving drive ended on November 24. Students were encouraged by their Peer Ministries to bring in can goods for people in need.

The 4,060 cans donated to Catholic Charities demonstrate the spirit of giving and being thankful provided by the students of Bishop Moore. The school teaches its students the importance of good Catholic values through experiences and not only education. Due to that stance, the school creates a welcoming atmosphere to all people that comes their way

“Being a student at Bishop Moore is a big honor knowing you have so many opportunities to help the community around us,” said Davis Daly, senior

Daly is graduating in May and is thankful for the chances and learning opportunities Bishop Moore provided for him and the rest of this community. Since the Thanksgiving drive ended, the Christmas drive is underway. Students will bring in toys, which will be donated for families in need.
