SNOW, CATHOLICS GATHER IN DC
Despite Snowstorm, Annual Gathering Takes Place
A winter storm buried the Washington Metro area this past weekend, but the annual Catholic Social Ministry Gathering still took place for those who made it.
CRL hosted a pre-gathering session focusing on the reception of Laudato Si in rural America and across the country. Jim Ennis and Peg Louiselle braved the winter elements to represent CRL, and have a full recap of the weekend’s events on our website.

Make Online Purchases, Become a CRL Member
As Lent approaches, we ask you to think of Catholic Rural Life and some of the resources we offer for simplicity and prayer reflection. One of our more popular resources is the Rural Life Prayerbook (pictured). Another is Cooking for Christ Cookbook that provides traditional recipes while reflecting on the liturgical year.
You can also make a donation in honor of someone, or give a loved one a subscription to CRL’s uplifting and thought-provoking quarterly Magazine.

CRS STORIES ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE
Catholics Sharing Stories, Solutions from the Field
The Catholic Climate Covenant, including CRL, is partnering with Catholic Relief Services on an instructive project to deepen and broaden the US Catholic community’s understanding of climate impacts and commitment to caring for God’s creation. Twice each month, CRS will post new “stories from the field” describing how environmental degradation is impacting our brothers and sisters around the world.
