The Interfaith Prayer Service will include readings from the Qur’an, the Old Testament, the New Testament and the Guru Granth Sahib representing Muslim, Jewish, Christian and Sikh religious traditions, among others. The theme of the prayer service is “In Remembrance of Those We Have Lost.”  There is a reception immediately following the prayer service.

The faithful will gather as a community of believers to celebrate peace. We are all part of one global human family living together in a world that remains broken and suffering. We will join in prayer for the universal desire for peace, consolation and hope and also remember lives lost from war, violence and inner turmoil. We seek peace in our own lives, in our relationships and in our world.
