O Lord, our Lord, how awesome is your name through all the earth! St. Francis composed the “Canticle of the Creatures” over the course of a lifetime. Disillusioned with military adventures, he encountered the deeper meaning of knighthood and defended our poor and crucified Christ. He praised our dear Lord in the silent glories of creation, the bravery of reconciliation and the daily dying to sinfulness. My dear daughter, Leslie, recently forwarded the 4 ½ minute video: “Adrift” (http://kotaku.com/the-san-francisco-fog-never-looked-so-gorgeous-636780999). As a labor of love, the photographer Simon Christen filmed the fog drifting into San Francisco Bay, over the coastal foothills and under Golden Gate Bridge. Praised be you, my Lord, through Sister Fog, through whom you cool the night and embrace the day. Please call Diane Gallagher or Dan Hardester @ 407-246-4897 (or 4895) for assistance in using audiovisual media in faith formation for all age groups. (Dan Hardester serves as Secretary of the Evangelization Secretariat and Director of the Media Center.)
