Amendment 8 on the November ballot will allow faith-based providers of social services to continue to participate in state programs without fear of challenge simply on the basis that they are religious. Services in jeopardy that are protected by Amendment 8 to the Florida Constitution include health care, homeless shelters, food banks, prison ministry and education.
