Carol Brinati is named Chancellor for Administration for the Diocese of Orlando effective January 17.  Carol has served the Diocese of Orlando since 2001 as Director of Communication. In 2007, Bishop Thomas Wenski appointed her Secretary of Evangelization. The Chancellor for Administration offers leadership and support to the Office of the Bishop, oversees other offices within the Chancery and serves as a liaison to parishes and other entities on behalf of the Bishop. 

Dan Hardester will assume the role of Secretary of Evangelization and Why Catholic? Diocesan Coordinator effective January 17.  He will continue to serve as Media Center Director for the Diocese of Orlando. Dan Hardester joined the Chancery staff in July, 2008. Prior to that, he served at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church as Director of Faith Formation and at St Stephen Catholic Church as RCIA Director. Mr. Hardester played a key role in launching Why Catholic? in the Diocese of Orlando last October.  He is a professed Franciscan of the Third Order of St. Francis. 

Teresa Lantigua Peterson will assume the role of Director of Communication effective January 17. Ms. Peterson has served the Diocese of Orlando as freelance writer/photographer for the Florida Catholic and Communications Manager. She has launched several communication initiatives, such as Light of Faith Awards, Faith News and E-Faith and has assisted with media relations at various diocesan events, including most recently the installation of Bishop John Noonan.  In her new role, she will provide administrative leadership and management for the Office of Communication as well as develop strategies for media and community relations.
