Become a fully engaged mentor couple

Married couples are invited to become Fully Engaged mentors to couples preparing for marriage.

Fully Engaged is a marriage preparation inventory, similar to FOCCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication, Understanding & Study), with straight-forward questions, reference material and resources provided for both the mentor couple and the engaged couple. Resources are also available in Spanish. Fully Engaged incorporates Catholic Identity and practice into each topical area and addresses contemporary issues today’s couples face.

Married couples, who have a willingness to share the teachings of the Catholic Church, attend Mass faithfully and have been in a sacramental marriage for at least 3 years are welcome to train as mentors. This training will equip participants with tools to effectively minister to engaged couples and provide appropriate pastoral responses.
