Celebrating National Migration Week

National Migration Week (NMW) is January 7-13, 2018. This year’s theme, Many Journeys, One Family, draws attention to the fact that each of our families has a migration story.

We are all part of the human family. The theme mirrors the Share the Journey global migration campaign currently underway as a collaborative effort of CCUSA, USCCB, CRS and Caritas Internationalis.

To assist individuals and institutions interested in participating in NMW, USCCB has developed a National Migration Week toolkit that provides ideas about possible community and parish engagement activities, prayer and advocacy resources, and information related to the Share the Journey campaign.

To celebrate the beginning of the National Migration week, Bishop Noonan celebrated the Migration Mass at Holy Cross Parish on Sunday, January 7.
