This week, Catholic Rural Life shares experiences from two rural life celebrations that took place in late September: A Rural Life Mass in the Diocese of LaCrosse, Wisconsin and the Catholic Rural Life Family Festival in the Diocese of Portland, Maine. Both were great examples of the community of the Church coming together to celebrate the food, land, people and faith of rural America.
“When I first drove into the farm, I was amazed at how many cars were already there. When I walked over to the large building that housed the Mass, I was struck with such a sense of community. I felt welcome and embraced right away.”
