Conversations that Form Ministry
“My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord…for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant” (Luke 1:46).
Mary begins Luke’s Gospel with a dialogue; a dialogue with her cousin Elizabeth about the way God has made her humble gift of self a great witness to the fulfillment of the Kingdom of God. An important aspect of discipleship is being a witness of the great things God does in our lives and ministry. Sharing that joy and appreciation is integral to evangelization and sharing the “Good News” with others in ministry.
During Our Catholic Faith: Mission, Formation and Ministry on Saturday, August 28 we will gather together to dialogue on what has been seen and heard about discipleship and how to apply these skills to our ministries. What can we do to make our ministry a great witness? How can we help and encourage each other in our mission as disciples? Who are the people with whom we should be networking and collaborating to share the Good News in our communities?
Our Catholic Faith: Mission, Formation and Ministry is scheduled for August 27/28 at Holy Family Catholic Church (5125 S. Apopka-Vineland Rd. Orlando, FL 32819). Registration fee is only $25 per person (spouse an additional $10). This conference will be presented in English and in Spanish and will offer a deeper invitation to fully engage our call to discipleship.
