At the first-ever statewide stewardship day, participants will explore the theme of, “Engaging the Faithful through the Four Pillars Stewardship.” With Jesus as the foundation, the four pillars of prayer, formation, spirituality, and service represent the building blocks on which Christian discipleship is built. The one day conference will invite people to witness, live, and share the stewardship way of life and teach them to encourage others to do the same.
The event keynote speaker is Father Roger Landry, permanent observer, mission of the Holy See to the United Nations. A variety of workshops in English and Spanish will be offered on topics including: digital discipleship, the spirituality of stewardship, hospitality and service, and stewardship and spiritual formation among Hispanic Catholics.
The statewide stewardship day will be held Saturday, April 29 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando. An early-bird registration fee of $25 per person is available through March 31. Register by April 24 at http://s.dosp.org/2017FLsteward.
