Sirius Channel 160 Moves to Sirius Channel 130
EWTN Global Catholic Radio Network, a major division of the largest religious media network in the world (EWTN), has moved from Sirius channel 160 to Sirius channel 130, as part of a Sirius Satellite Radio channel reorder. This channel reorder, effective May 4, 2011, is part of the SiriusXM initiative that calls for one common channel number for both Sirius and XM radios.
“EWTN Catholic Radio has been a longtime program partner with Sirius, and we’re happy to assist in this seamless transition from Sirius channel 160 to Sirius channel 130,” said EWTN Executive Vice President & COO Doug Keck.
When Sirius subscribers turn on their Sirius radio, it will take up to two minutes to receive the system wide update from the satellites. All radio preset buttons should automatically be updated during this process.
The SiriusXM EWTN Catholic Radio app for iPhone & Blackberry, and EWTN Catholic Radio live Internet stream on SiriusXM will not need updates or be affected in any way.
