This year, Farmworker Awareness Week will take place from March 27 – April 2. Farmworker Awareness Week (FAW) is a nation-wide week of action for communities and congregations to raise awareness about farm worker issues during the week of Cesar Chavez’ birthday. The week honors his legacy as a leader of the farm worker movement. The National Farmworker Ministry is a co-sponsor of the week. They are planning activities and actions around the country, and they encourage you to plan an activity, too. Email or call them at nfwm@nfwm.org or (314) 726-6470.

Also note: Student Action with Farmworkers Farmworker Awareness Week is also a time of action for students and community members to raise awareness about farmworker issues on campuses and in communities.
