Farmworker Sunday – November 7

The Florida Bishops have designated November 7, 2010, as Farmworker Sunday.  This Sunday is reserved to acknowledge the unique contribution of our migrant laborers who work in sometimes hazardous conditions, exposed to pesticides and high temperatures in agriculture, to grow and harvest the food that comes to our tables.  The Florida Catholic Conference will have several liturgical and parish resources available soon on their website: www.flacathconf.org
