Human trafficking and exploitation is a global phenomenon with effects that reach many local communities including several here in central Florida. Every ministry professional, parish staff, volunteer team and pastoral leaders should know the warning signs, understand the risks, and be aware of the factors that victimize people and communities – here in central Florida.
The Diocese of Orlando is raising awareness about this issue through community collaboration and information sharing. Join deacons David Gray and Fred Molina on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Orlando from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. as they share information and resources for parishes to help foster awareness in their communities. The event is $10 per person which includes morning hospitality, lunch and materials. Click here to RSVP.
