Marie Justine Poulard Jacques has worked for CRS for over 15 years. Jacques is currently responsible for the incoming shipments to Haiti. In order to receive exoneration of taxes for CRS, she works closely with the Haitian Government.  Like her brothers and sisters in Christ around Haiti, Jacques and her family were affected by the earthquake. Almost a year later, Justine is still living in a tent. However, Jacques feels grateful and blessed to know that her family members survived. When asked how Justine manages, she said, “My faith helped me, because in my life, God is more important than the material possessions that I have.” Marie Justine Poulard Jacques was born in Haiti. She has her bilingual Secretarial diplomas and a Customs Broker license.
