This week, Catholic Rural Life (CRL) continues their blog series: Agriculturalist Turned Pastoral Scholar. CRL Guest Blogger, Duane Short, in part two of the series, shares how his life and experiences as a farmer have helped him appreciate the beauty of God’s creation in even the most unexpected places.
“God said at the end of each day of creation, ‘It is good.’ Yes, all of creation is beautiful and good. From the mountain vistas to the barren deserts (…) All this beauty and goodness is a direct reflection on God, the Creator. Creation reflects the glory of God and is present everywhere. Sometimes we need to get out of our own way to see it, but it is there. And Creation is great!”
