How do I Reflect the God of Endurance to Foster Community?

How do I reflect the God of endurance and encouragement to foster community in my corner of the world, including those in need? When have I shown acceptance and love for someone who has not yet been blessed to know the Good News proclaimed in Sacred Scripture?

 2nd Sunday of Advent

Romans 15 verses 4-6: For whatever was written previously was written for our instruction, that by endurance and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to think in harmony with one another, in keeping with Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Catechism of the Catholic Church, nos. 360-361. The human race forms a unity because God created all men and women to inhabit the whole earth. Our common origin gives rise to the law of human solidarity and charity that interconnects everyone without exclusion.

How do I reflect the God of endurance and encouragement to foster community in my corner of the world, including those in need? When have I shown acceptance and love for someone who has not yet been blessed to know the Good News proclaimed in Sacred Scripture?

Praying with and for you as we put faith in action, NPCD Executive Committee Members & NCEA Religious Education Department Staff.
