In recognition of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, we feature the 22 minute DVD, “I Have A Dream.” The DVD includes excerpts from the August 28, 1963 speech from the Lincoln Memorial, a 1965 exhortation to nonviolent resistance in Selma, Alabama, Dr. King’s final speech in April, 1968 in which he appropriated Moses’ destiny: “I may not be there to see it with you” and Bobby Kennedy’s impromptu eulogy at a presidential campaign stop in Indianapolis. As an 8th grader in the year of his assassination, the words of this American prophet have shaped my consciousness.
