It’s not too late to give something up for Lent

Consider giving up bad body language for Lent. It may help you reconnect and communicate better with loved ones. How often do you show signs of disdain or contempt during conversations? Try giving up the following:

  • rolling your eyes
  • scowling
  • ignoring a request by walking away
  • talking over others

Instead, focus on actively listening to others. Practice patience with your loved ones this Lent. Here are some upcoming events to help couples grow in their relationship:

  • World-wide Marriage Encounter (WWME) – Make time to improve and enrich your marriage this year! The next world-wide marriage encounter weekend is March 2-4, 2018. Please go to wwme.org for additional information and to register.
