Youth & Young Adult Ministers (all clergy & parish ministers welcome). Consider the latest research on how people learn and the roles of both nature and nurture in faith development throughout a life-long journey of faith, including our own. Explore how parishes and families can nurture each stage of faith development. Evaluate factors that influence faith within the family and parish settings and consider how we can incorporate a family perspective into our ministries with youth and young adults.

Nurturing Family Members & Systems Each young person we serve in youth ministry is a part of their own domestic church. Nurturing their faith requires nurturing their parents faith and empowering the family to nurture faith as well. Young adults are often in the midst of establishing their own family and nurturing the faith of their children. Their faith development needs the skill of nurturing the faith of their family as they grow in faith themselves.
