The Mission Office of the Diocese of Orlando in partnership with Catholic Volunteers in Florida (CVIF), have created TWO positions for long-term missioners to spend one year in our sister diocese, the Diocese of San Juan de la Maguana in the Dominican Republic. You will offer support for our short term mission teams from the Diocese of Orlando who travel there more than 15 times throughout a year and enter into a relationship with the people in the communities of Las Lomas who live on the fringe of society.

- Catholic Volunteers (CV’s) serve as missioners internationally in the Dominican Republic, AND domestically as teachers, social workers, case workers, resident assistants, paralegals, intake specialists, volunteer coordinators, and medical assistants (to name a few).
- Each volunteer’s placement is a careful match between his/her education, experience, skills and interests, the needs of the service sites and available resources.
