July 2013

July 3 – Papal audience at 10:30 a.m

July 7 –  Mass for Vocations, St. Peter’s Square & Angelus/Papal Blessing, 12 Noon (no tickets required)

In a note released on June 6, 2013, the Prefecture of the Papal Household announced that, during the summer period, all private and special audiences will be suspended. The Wednesday general audiences of 3,10, 17, and 31 July are likewise suspended and will resume again from 7 August.  

On Sunday, 7 July, the Holy Father will pray the Angelus in Saint Peter’s Square at the end of Mass.

July 22-29 – World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro

AUGUST 2013

During the month of August only, tickets are not required for the General Wednesday Audiences. Audiences will be held either in Paul VI Audience Hall or in Saint Peter’s Square at 10:00 a.m. on the following dates: 7, 21, and 28. The location will depend on the size of the pilgrim crowd and may not be announced until the day before the audience. There will not be an audience on August 14, 2013.

August 15 – Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary – Angelus/Papal Blessing in Saint Peter’s Square (no tickets required)

August 18 –  Angelus/Papal Blessing in Saint Peter’s Square, 12 Noon (no tickets required)

August 21 – Papal audience —location TBA, 10:30 a.m. (no tickets required)

August 25 –  Angelus/Papal Blessing in Saint Peter’s Square, 12 Noon (no tickets required)
