Planning has begun for the 2017 Orlando Liturgical Conference

The Diocese of Orlando Office of Liturgy and Music has announced the theme for the 2017 Orlando Liturgical Conference: Liturgy in Action: Encountering Christ. The conference, which will be held Aug. 24-26, 2017 at the Orlando Airport Marriott, will focus on the art of accompaniment as it relates to encountering Christ in the liturgy. The Orlando Liturgical Conference is committed to evangelize, inspire, form and educate diverse liturgical ministers through a variety of breakout sessions, acclaimed keynote speakers, and time for communal prayer. Among the confirmed speakers are: Dr. Jerry Galipeau, vice president and chief publishing officer for the J.S. Paluch Company; Rita Ferrone, renowned author and speaker; and Rita Thiron, executive director of the Federation of Diocesan Liturgical Commissions.
