St. Paul Catholic School Receives $10,000

St. Paul Catholic School in Leesburg received a grant from Beall’s Department Store in the amount of $10,000.

The grant will be used to purchase the technology needed to create a publishing studio within the school’s media center. The grant was written under the premise that St. Paul Catholic School students should not settle for the ordinary, but strive for the extraordinary in their education.

The initiative is designed to motivate students to become better writers and be able to publish their own books and learn them about professions connected to publishing.

This grant was made possible thanks to the efforts of volunteer Dr. Nick Nuciforo, a retired university professor and teachers Sissy Revord and Darren Thornton.
