Thrilling music for 10 piece brass and ensemble with organ in the resonant acoustics of the Basilica space! Sovereign Brass Union is an extension of the popular Sovereign Brass, Central Florida’s premiere brass ensemble. Music from Renaissance to contemporary in a thrilling afternoon of exhilarating music!
All are welcome, no tickets required. A free will offering will be taken for Catholic Charities in service to the poor.

Our beloved third bishop of Orlando passed into eternal life in February 2013, and we fondly remember his gentle pastoral leadership. Bishop Dorsey, an accomplished musician, supporter of the Basilica Choir, and lover of Mozart, will be honored at this performance of Mozart’s immortal “Requiem” by the Basilica Choir and Orchestra, under the direction of William Picher.

A LENTEN MEDITATION OF PIANO AND SONG WITH JEANNE COTTER
Celebrate the generous donation of our new grand piano with a concert by nationally known pianist, composer, singer and speaker Jeanne Cotter. Jeanne has performed throughout the United States and Canada and continues to delight and amaze audiences as she performs her original piano works, sings her inspirational songs, and tells her heartwarming and often humorous stories of growing up in an Irish Catholic family in southern Minnesota. Come enjoy this rare opportunity to experience the talents of this beloved artist at the Shrine!
