You may have heard of the Dead Sea Scrolls, but few know anything about them, except perhaps what they have read in sensational and often misleading bestsellers. Dr. Chávez has been studying the Dead Sea Scrolls for over ten years and teaches a course on the Dead Sea Scrolls at the seminary. He will explain how the Scrolls were discovered, what they consist of, and the fascinating ideas of the sect which wrote the Scrolls.   Dr. Chávez will also take questions about conspiracy theories and rumors surrounding the Scrolls.
