The Office of Faith Formation is pleased to announce our diocesan partnership with the University of Dayton Institute for Pastoral Initiatives’ Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (UD-VLCFF). Effective immediately, anyone involved in providing catechesis (i.e. catechists, Catholic school teachers, campus ministers, ministry coordinators, catechetical professionals, Catholic school principals, clergy) and interested adult faithful may take a variety of courses and seminars online through the following website: vlc.udayton.edu.

An official rollout and orientation event for will take place on 25 April 2012 (details forthcoming) but this information is provided immediately as registration for the upcoming learning cycle begins this coming Tuesday, 28 February 2013.

Participants should select the Diocese of Orlando affiliate option when they register in order to receive discounted registration.

Coursework is offered in English and Spanish with a variety of certificates (catechesis, adult formation leadership, youth ministry, foundations for leadership in ministry, social justice, marianist studies) and undergraduate-credit also available.
