Where the Vocations are:

St. Paul Seminary is welcoming 33 new seminarians this fall, for a total of 92 (the largest group since 1981) from St. Paul/Minneapolis Diocese and three foreign countries. The Diocese of St. Cloud has more men in formation than it has had in more than 40 years.

Sacred Heart School of Theology: (a seminary for men over the age of 30 in Franklin, Wisconsin) has 42 new seminarians this fall, for a total of 210.  They have the largest enrollment class in 20 years; nearly double last year’s incoming class.

Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist: (Ann Arbor, Michigan) welcomed 22 new young women (average age 21) as aspirants to their community.  Founded in 1997, the average age of the 113 members of their community is 26.

Dominican Province of St. Joseph: accepted 21 men as novices, the Eastern Province’s largest novitiate class since 1966.  The average age of those coming into the Eastern Province is 24.

Nashville Dominicans: had 27 women enter – the largest incoming class ever with an average age of 24.  The Order has 274 nuns teaching in 34 schools across the country.

Conception Seminary College (Benedictine monks of Conception Abbey), Conception, Missouri, has 120 young men studying for the priesthood—the highest in 40 years.

St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary: welcomed 27 new men…all but 3 are from our Florida dioceses.

Pray for our Seminarians and Novices
