Week 56

2 Thessalonians 1 verses 11-12:  To this end, we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and powerfully bring to fulfillment every good purpose and every effort of faith, that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, in accord with the grace of our God and Lord Jesus Christ.

Catechism of the Catholic Church, nos. 164-165.  Witnesses of faith such as Abraham and the Virgin Mary point to authentic hope that helps believers walk in the light of Christ when experiences shake faith or tempt us away from belief. The Feast of All Saints celebrates that we are always surrounded by “a great cloud of witnesses.”

Praying with and for you in this Year of Faith.
