Week 23

John 8 verse 11:  She replied, “No one, sir.” Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, [and] from now on do not sin any more.”

Novo Millennio Ineunte (John Paul II, 2000) no. 43.  A spirituality of communion means thinking of our brothers and sisters in faith as part of us. “Let us have no illusions: unless we follow this spiritual path, external structures of communion will serve very little purpose. They would become mechanisms without a soul, ‘masks’ of communion rather than its means of expression and growth.”

How do I help spread Jesus’ message of forgiveness beyond Lent into the rest of the year? In what ways can I build a spirituality of communion within my local community?

Praying with and for you in this Year of Faith,
