Week 17

1 Corinthians 13 verse 13:  So faith, hope, love remain, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Catechism of the Catholic Church, nos. 1812-1845.  The theological virtues dispose Christians for relationship with the Holy Trinity. God is their origin, motive and object – “God known by faith, God hoped in and loved for his own sake” (no. 1840).
