Week 13 of the Christmas Season

Matthew 2 verses 10-11:  [The magi] were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage.

Catechism of the Catholic Church, nos. 2096-2097.  Adoration acknowledges God as God. Adoring God is the first act of the virtue of religion.
