Holy Redeemer Student Wins Art Contest

Lean Hour Tan, a fifth-grade student at Holy Redeemer Catholic School in Kissimmee, was the grand prize winner of the 21st annual Kissimmee Utility Authority’s calendar art contest. This is the second consecutive year a Holy Redeemer student has claimed the top prize in the contest. Tan’s work will be replicated onto one of the authority’s bucket trucks and will appear on the cover of the group’s calendar. Holy Redeemer School will receive $500 in art supplies.

Artwork submitted by fourth-grade students, Felipe Abreu of Holy Redeemer, and Sarah Wolff of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in St. Cloud, were also among the top 12 winning entries and will appear in the calendar as well.
