The event was held at the Orange County Convention Center and featured exhibits based on scientific modeling, simulation, and training.

The show was not only for potential consumers to see the newest and best in the industry, but for students from across Florida who are taking advanced science courses and interested in career choices in these areas.

There were hundreds of exhibits ranging from military defense applications to racecar simulations. Students and customers alike had the opportunity to test out the simulations, especially the STEM section which featured high school and college students’ inventions.

Multiple exhibitors collaborated to form the conference’s major presentation called Operation Blended Warrior. This was a simulated defense mission staged in a virtual war between two imaginary countries. Different exhibitors had to use their skills to ensure the success of the mission. I/ITSEC was an innovative, exciting experience and the Holy Family Science Olympiad Team was grateful for the opportunity to attend and hopeful to be invited back next year.
