“I feel blessed and humbled to receive this very special award named for a dear friend and colleague,” Mrs. Walsh said “I am touched to be the first to receive this award named for Jenni.”
The award was named in honor of the late Jennifer Heneghan, who served as principal of All Souls Catholic School until her death in March, and is presented to an educator who exemplified the spirit, faith life and professionalism of Mrs. Heneghan.
Jenni’s husband, Bobby, and son, Colin, were also present during the presentation.
“Jenni was a true disciple of Christ,” Mr. Fortier said. “Her legacy of service, faith, excellence and the commitment to the community continues to live in all of our hearts. We are proud to keep that legacy alive in the giving of this award and are pleased to first present it to a most worthy leader in our community. Congratulations Katie.”
