Kevin began his career with Bishop Grady Villas in 2004 as Resident/Staff Development Director. During this time he supervised the Assisted Living Community and provided employment services to the residents of Bishop Grady Villas, assisting them in acquiring competitive employment. In 2008, Kevin was appointed Executive Director and oversaw expansion of the program through contracts with the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and Social Security Administration Ticket To Work. Under his leadership, Bishop Grady Villas has become one of Central Florida’s 25 largest nonprofit organizations. In 2011, Kevin was named the Florida Assisted Living Associations’ Assisted Living Administrator of the Year.
Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a major in Psychology and minor in Spanish. After graduation, Kevin volunteered full-time through Catholic Volunteers in Florida, an AmeriCorps program, as direct support professionals serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home setting. Kevin later became a full-time staff member and was promoted to Group Home Manager and then Co-Administrator over the program. He is a founding member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church.

Meagan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and completed the Crummer Management Program through the Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business. Meagan has a Certificate in Leadership Practice and Volunteer Management through the Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership and is currently working on her Certificate in Non Profit Management.
Meagan started her career working with people with disabilities as a volunteer leader in 1997 with the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Summer Camp program. She has been volunteering or working with individuals with disabilities since then. Before coming to Bishop Grady Villas, Meagan was a Program Manager with Best Buddies International and has worked with the Walt Disney Company as a facilitator for their youth education programs.
Meagan began at Bishop Grady Villas in 2007 as a Direct Support Professional. In 2008 she was promoted to the Residential Programs Manager position and then was promoted again in 2014 to the position of Assisted Living Administrator. Meagan currently supervises our Assisted Living community and our Medicaid waiver programs including; Adult Day Training, Companion and Residential Habilitation, as well as our Food Services and Maintenance Departments.

Laurel graduated with an MA in Art History from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BA from Scripps College in Claremont, CA. Having dedicated her twenty five year career to nonprofit fundraising, Laurel is committed to helping people achieve their dreams through inspiring the generosity of others.

Donna started her career as a Registered Nurse in 1994. She has worked in a variety of Nursing positions including Hospitals, Cardiology, Oncology, Home Health, Hospice, and as Medical Marketing Director for Integrated Health Systems.
From 1987 to 1994 Donna served as Parent Liaison for Osceola County School District for the ESE program. She has served as a Board Member for the ARC of Osceola, and worked with Special Olympics of Osceola County. Donna began working in a Nursing capacity with individuals having disabilities in 2001.
Donna came to work at Bishop Grady Villas in 2013 and is the parent of an adult daughter with intellectual disabilities. She is professionally and personally dedicated to each Bishop Grady Villas Resident and their families.
Residential Programs Manager
David graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Parks and Recreation. His career has led him into a variety of areas in the Guest Service industry from international world-renowned resorts to the cruise ship market. In 2000, he came over from the Bahamas to tour a local non-profit and began this new path in the health and care field.
His career at Bishop Grady Villas began in 2009 as Assistant Residential Program Manager. His position allows him to interact day to day with the residents. His responsibility also includes activities and the expansion of more community involvement for the residents. In 2014, he was promoted to Residential Programs Manager in that he supervises the Assisted Living Community and Residential Staff. The volunteer program is an area constantly growing and a chance to welcome those interested in being a part of our mission. Employment Programs Manager
Desiree Robles began her career at Bishop Grady Villas in 2005 as a resident advisor. In 2005 she also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rollins College the Hamilton Holt program. She is a bilingual, native New Yorker who began her career working with people with disabilities at the Young Adult Institute in New York City. After moving to Florida in 2002 she became inspired to enhance her career continuing in the disability field of work. Prior to BGV she was a medical biller for Night Light Pediatrics for Florida Hospital. The position as a resident advisor complimented her prior experience in healthcare certified as a nurse assistant and personal care attendant.
In 2007 she was promoted to employment specialist with the development of the employment program with the primary focus to obtain and maintain employment for the residents of Bishop Grady Villas
The success of the employment program included an expansion of services to individuals with disabilities in the greater community expanding its mission to serve more individuals. In 2009 she was promoted to employment programs manager supervising three employment Specialists. She continues to provide supported employment placement services, Discovery, On the job training ,and Social security work incentives support to individuals in Osceola, Polk, Orange, Lake and Seminole counties.
By 2017 she continues to supervise the employment specialists each dedicated to their own county with a new hire that assisted in the development of Bishop Grady Villas first project SEARCH site at the Gaylord palms. A very successful year with 100% placement rate before the end of the program year has led to the expansion of two additional sites in Seminole County supporting students with disabilities transition from high school into the hospital and hospitality work force

Lauren graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of the Arts in Anthropology and Minor in Dance. With a passion for serving others, Lauren came to Bishop Grady Villas in 2012 to serve as a full time volunteer through Catholic Volunteers in Florida. Lauren had volunteered since Middle School with various populations, but found her passion for helping those with disabilities when she began at Bishop Grady Villas. After her year of service ended she came on as full time staff as a Residential Coordinator for 5 years.
In the Fall of 2015 Lauren received a Certificate in Leadership Practice through Rollins College Edith Bush Institute for Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership. Lauren is also working towards her Certificate in Nonprofit Management through this program.
In April of 2018 Lauren began her transition to the Regulatory Compliance Manager. Her years of experience as Residential Coordinator set her up for success in this new position.
Meaningful Day Coordinator
Andrea Perez graduated from Adventist University of Health Sciences in 2007 with an Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Communications Science disorder at the University of Central Florida. Andrea has 7 years’ experience working with the pediatric population, working with a wide range of neuro-development disorders. This experience includes, but is not limited to, cerebral palsy, autism disorder, Down Syndrome, intellectual disability and attention hyperactive disorder. Andrea has received training in Hypotherapy, Visual Motor skills, Sensory Integration Disorder and continued emphasis on treatment intervention to Autism Spectrum Disorder for the pediatric population.
Prior to becoming a therapist, Andrea worked at Walt Disney World, Human Resources Department, as an Employment Coordinator. Andrea is also a Certified Zumba Fitness Instructor and a professional Salsa Dance Instructor. She has a grand passion for helping others achieve their highest potential.
Emma joins Bishop Grady with nearly twenty years experience as a Professional Caregiver. Throughout her younger years, Emma worked with different populations ranging from children to the elderly. Emma later found her passion in caring for seniors and adults with disabilities. After taking her Certified Nursing Assistant courses and also obtaining her Home Health Aide Certificate in New York, Emma became part of a health care service agency where she provided personal care to patients in their homes and also in different living facilities. Emma decided to continue her education when she moved to Florida in 2014 to obtain a degree in Health Administration at the University of Phoenix with the goal of making a difference in the lives of people who require care advocacy.
Emma joined Bishop Grady as a part time Direct Support Professional in May of 2017 towards completion of her courses, graduating with a certificate in Electronic Health Records and an Associate of Arts with a concentration in Health Administration in July 2017.
In August 2017, Emma transitioned as Bishop Grady’s full time Residential Coordinator. Emma continues her education full time working towards obtaining her Bachelors of Science in Health Administration with a Long Term Care Certificate while managing the services provided at Bishop Grady Villas.
Carlos graduated as an Electronic Technologist from the Pascual Bravo Institute in Medellin Colombia in 1987. He started his career in America as a trim carpenter. Then later worked for Quality One Wireless where he started as a bench technician and was promoted to a Production Manager. Most recently Carlos worked as a Maintenance Technician for Park Place Behavioral Health before coming to Bishop Grady Villas.
Carlos and his family are devout Catholics and members of Saint Catherine of Siena Catholic Church where Carlos serves as the coordinator of the Liturgical Committee of Lectors. He also serves as a member of the Neocatechumenal Way.
