Welcome to the Diocese of Orlando Office of Vocations website. This site offers a number of resources – including prayers, videos, frequently asked questions, and testimonials – for those discerning a vocation to religious life and those interested in learning more about religious vocations. As you pray for God’s guidance and direction for your life and the lives of those around you, we are here for support with our prayers, resources, and personal presence.
The Office of Vocations website offers resources for:
  • Men and women, who are discerning a vocation to religious life or want to learn more about God’s call for their lives;
  • Parish staff members, who are key to planting seeds for religious vocations;
  • Parents, who may have questions about vocations or want information if their son or daughter is discerning a call to religious life.
The site also offers news and upcoming events for the Office of Vocations, as well as information on current seminarians and the seminaries which they attend.
May God’s special grace be your source of strength and may Mary, Our Mother, guide your every step. May you be Jesus’ hands and feet in our world. Amen.

Join us for our 2017 Annual Vocations Workshop
Inspiring Young People to Consider their Vocation

 The workshop will be on April 22 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Altamonte SpringsThis year’s theme is based on Pope Francis’ next synod, “Youth, Faith and Vocational Discernment.”

What can you do to encourage young people to think about their vocation? At this workshop you will hear from Catholic clergy and laity who work with youth around the diocese, and will share their experiences, activities, and suggestions for engaging young people.

This workshop is for everyone who has the opportunity to serve youth in our diocese, including: parish vocations committees, DRE’s, youth ministers, young adult ministers, teachers, religious communities and clergy.
