Twenty-Second Sunday in Ordinary Time

Matthew 16
verse 24:
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”

Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 1506. Christ invites his disciples to follow him by taking up their cross. He makes them share in his ministry of compassion and healing.

When did I last bear the cross of Christ and share in his ministry?  In what ways do I serve in my church community by forming others in the Catholic faith?

Praying with and for you as we put faith in action,
