Sacred Heart Principal is 2015 Light of Faith Award Winner

On Monday, April 27, Sacred Heart Catholic School principal, Leigh Svajko, was awarded the Light of Faith award.

Svajko has been the principal of Sacred Heart for four years. She has been a great model of faith and shows her continued efforts in the many activities our school has participated in and completed, increased school enrollment, and promotion of Catholic identity.

The award was a complete surprise, and many parents, parishioners and guests were in attendance including Bishop John Noonan who celebrated the school Mass, and Diocese of Orlando leaders Carol Brinati, Henry Fortier, and Teresa Peterson.

It was truly a blessing for our principal to be recognized for her good works and leadership.
