St. Paul Parish Celebrates 60th Anniversary

This year, St. Paul Parish celebrated the 60th anniversary of its founding, which took place in 1954. The parish celebrated in the Fall, beginning with a special dedication Mass with Bishop Noonan.

A parish picnic was held at the school’s sports pavilion. Members of St. Paul’s Catholic School’s BETA Club chapter helped at the picnic, managing games for all of the children in attendance. During this special anniversary year, there will be many guest visits and concerts, such as the school’s annual Christmas concert, which was held on Dec. 11, as well as a handbell ensemble performance in the church. The conclusion of the year-long anniversary celebration will occur on Sept. 21, 2015 with the final event being a cruise to the coast of Norway and the Arctic Circle that will return to port on Oct. 5, 2015.
