Students celebrate All Souls Day

On Nov. 2 All Souls Catholic School and the parish community celebrated their feast day, All Souls Day.

It was a special celebration because Bishop John Noonan attended and the first grade students from All Souls dressed as the occupation of the saint they researched.

Bishop Noonan was interested to know facts about the saints. The first graders impressed the Bishop with their knowledge which included the occupation and an interesting fact about the saint they had been assigned.

The first graders also did all the readings and brought up the gifts. Bishop Noonan inspired us to go out and be like the saints when he said, “The Saints are like stained glass windows because they let the light shine through them.”
