BACKGROUND:  Each election cycle, the Florida Conference of Catholic Bishops conducts the Candidate Questionnaire Project (CQP) to assist Catholics and the broader community with the obligation to become informed voters.

All U.S. Congressional and Florida gubernatorial and legislative candidates appearing on the ballot in the primary and/or general elections are invited to participate in a questionnaire. Candidates are asked to identify whether they support or oppose a range of issues involving human life and dignity, and the common good. In addition to their positions on the issues, candidates are given the opportunity to include brief, online comments on each question.

ACTION: Please help us to evaluate the usefulness of the CQP as a tool for Catholic voters by completing a short survey. Your responses will be considered in the decision process as to whether the project is conducted this upcoming election year. All responses are anonymous.
